Murmur presents Nofitstate
27/11/2010
TBA - TBA

Event description

Despite only occurring on a few specially selected nights throughout the year, No Fit State is quickly establishing itself as something of an institution on the London house underground. It has created a magnetism surrounding the nights with its secret intimate locations and hand picked line-ups, winning itself some loyal followers and emerging as a brand that encapsulates what makes underground music events so satisfying.

French DJ and producer Dyed Soundorom is one of the hottest properties of Parisian tech-house label Freak n'Chic. Originally a club kid and promoter in the late-90s and early-'00s Parisian house music scene, Soundorom has made a natural progression into the DJ booth, landing residencies at seminal clubs like Batofar and Alcazar. The latter invited him to mix Volume 3 of their legendary Mezzanine De L'Alcazarcompilation series in 2003, establishing Soundorom as a DJ to look out for. Soundorom's talent as a DJ and tastemaker have made him high in demand with his hectic transatlantic tour schedule taking him from top hotpots in London, Berlin and Ibiza (where he currently holds residency at DC10's infamous Circoloco) to Miami, where he tore up the WMC "Get Lost" party at Electric Party this year.

Graeme Clark, also known as The Revenge, has been in rare form this past 12 months, working under a host of solo and collaborative monikers, such as 6th Borough Project, Deportivo Street Team, Cronk Family Enterprises, The Hong Kong Micros and even Grizzle. The Revenge is one of the fastest rising stars of underground dance music. His eclectic style blends everything from classic soul to 80’s chart music but is sewn together with a unique slow-motion house groove. His productions have been sending tastemakers doolally for about a year and heavy weight DJ’s such as Pete Tong, Danny Krivit, Radio Slave, Prins Thomas, Gilles Peterson, Kissy Sellout and Tim Sweeney are all noted fans.

Having recently set the desert alight with his set at Burning, Geddes will be displaying his intimate knowledge of providing one-night musical extravaganzas, selected for a very special crowd.
