Following last year’s hit soirée at Basing House with Augsburg's Daniel Bortz, GetDownGood return to the unique East London venue with two of techno’s most innovative artists.
Jichael Mackson keeps a relatively low profile on the world stage, but has made a name for himself in his native Munich through his acclaimed live techno sets and a scattering of well-received releases. His output is infrequent but always on point, with 2011’s ‘Gedons’ from the flawless Bob’s You Uncle EP demonstrating why he’s held in such high regard as a producer.
Rarely visiting the UK, Mackson will be performing a live set on the night.
Like Berlin, Scotland has also produced its fair share of techno composers, and Sei A continues to support that well established tradition. With a sound that ranges from moody and melancholic to fast and frenetic, Sei A’s records are always unique and engrossing, and we are extremely proud to welcome him to the event.
Support on the night will come – as ever – from GetDownGood resident DJs Tom Bulwer and Greg Sawyer.
