Provide a wide range of the highest class artists, durnig the daytime in a unique urban venue.” Based on this premise, that has already become its identity hallmark, comes Save The Day 2012.
After four consecutive years and under the tutelage of Instrument Records, Save The Day will be one of the most attractive shows during the Sonar week in Barcelona, bringing some of the most exiting dj sets and live acts of these days' electronic scene to the terrace of the singular and exclusive W Hotel. This will be divided into two different stages:
On one hand: the main Save The Day stage will host, as the main course, the performance of the American live legend of house music, Theo Parrish, who'll be bringing a three hour DJ set -an unusual experience nowadays. Also on the main stage, the nu jazz trio headed by Mathew Jonson, Cobblestone Jazz, will be performing one of their analog, sober live acts in electronic key, starting from the improvisation of classic jam sessions. The main stage schedule completes with the live set of Soulphiction (Jackmate) and the Mark E dj set.
Added to this, there'll be room for the most promising local artists like Marc Piñol & Pettre, from Hivern Discs, and Pau Roca & Astroboyz; both from Struments Records.
Simultaneously, the Dial & Laid stage will be hosting the live act of the American John Roberts, the best of the german label Dial and its sublabel Laid. The exclusive live act of the first timer Palisade (aka Redshape in its deeper version) together with the RNDM, Lawrence and Roman Flugel's dj sets will also take place on this stage.
The tickets for Save The Day 2012 will be available from April 20th at Resident Advisor (www.residentadvisor.net) and at 33/45 Bar (c/Joaquin Costa nº 4, Barcelona). There will be different packs of tickets available at different prices until the day of the event.
