With the days getting shorter and the nights getting longer that means more time to party,
so in good spirit mulletover are inviting you out for Christmas celebrations on November
28th. Having had just enough time to recover from Halloween’s havoc and horror,
November’s party is set to be a bit more tinseltastic, encouraging you to cosy up with the
mulletover crew in the privacy of this secret location, as we get further into the depths of the
winter months.
Warming our cockles for the evening is Berlin’s Achim Brandenburg AKA Prosumer. An
expert in classic Chicago House and Detroit Techno, Prosumer has gained this expertise
first as a fervent record buyer at Germany’s best loved record store, Hard Wax. Slowly, the
consumer turned into Prosumer and these days he is playing at the likes of Robert
Johnson, Fabric, and Watergate, with releases on 240 Volt and Playhouse. His
performances are a balance between pushing people’s buttons and surprising them, using
not only laptops, but incorporating equipment like drum machines for the shows and his
own voice.
Accompanying Prosumer is Shaun Reeves, part of the new generation of Detroit natives
residing in Berlin, labeled as dance music’s finest young prodigies by Mixmag and IDJ this
month, together with pals Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss and Ryan Crosson. While searching
deep in the back catalogue of house and techno for forgotten tracks that sound decidedly
fresh and exciting, Shaun remains committed to pushing all genres of dance music forward.
His is music not just for the dance floor, but also for the body, soul…and brain.
To make things extra special, the Bad Passion crew are proud to present California’s DJ
Buck, who wears his 20 years in music well. Spreading the message "something old,
something new, something me, something you," Buck is confident that anyone can find his
or her niche in his music. mulletover’s sole resident Geddes complements the sounds of
these underground music junkies with his own esoteric blend of charming creations, closing
the night with some warmth and colour.
Bad Passion Project, disco’s east end mafia complete the line-up. Marking a year of parties,
they have already established themselves as one of Shoreditch’s principle low-key but high-
octane disco bashes, by offering a unique mix of wild music, oddball venues and a diverse,
high quality crowd. Also on hand Bad Passion Project work tirelessly to create an
underground atmosphere that has allowed artists such as Phoreski, Steve Kotey and A
Mountain Of One go that little bit further behind the decks.
